DEPARTMENT OF SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
Speech-language pathologists serve individuals, families, and groups from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
We provide clinical services like early identification of speech delay and it’s prevention , assessment and intervention of speech and language disorders, associated with or without clinical conditions. These are carried out by experienced professionals with proper referral and documentation.
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Our SLP will work with your child to improve their understanding and talking. The SLP can also help your child get ready to read and write. Good language skills help your child learn, behave, make friends, and feel better about themself.
ARTICULATION THERAPY
Our SLP will listen to your child to hear how they say sounds. The SLP also will look at how your child moves their lips, jaw, and tongue. The SLP may test your child’s language skills and helps to improve articulation.
STUTTERING AND FLUENCY THERAPY
There are different ways to help with stuttering. A treatment team usually includes you, your child, other family members, and your child’s teacher. Treatment will depend one or more of the factors.
VOICE THERAPY
Treatment depends on what caused the voice disoders and what problems you have.The SLP can teach you how to take care of your voice, called vocal hygiene. You can learn about how you abuse your voice and what to do to stop. Treatment may also help you change how your voice sounds or teach you how to get enough breath to talk. The SLP also help you find ways to relax and feel less stressed.
APHASIA AND DYSARTHRIA TREATMENT
There are many ways to work on your language. The type of treatment you get depends on what you want and need. You have to work with an SLP on your own or in a small group. You want your family to be a part of your treatment. They can help you use the skills you learn with the SLP at home.
FEEDING AND SWALLOWING THERAPY
